Meadowlark's Track Record
The Founder of Meadowlark Publishing, UK native, Gaye Allen, has an honours degree in Typography & Graphic Communication from the University of Reading in England. She started her publishing career in 1983 working as the Art Director for several prestigious London based book Publishing companies.
In 1999 she was headhunted to the US to be the Creative Director for Weldon Owen, a San Francisco based publishing company specialising in producing book series for major US retail brands and institutions. Her work led her to design book programs in the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand. Some of the clients Gaye has created books for are listed here.
Having enjoyed a career in publishing spanning three decades in three continents. Gaye has designed books on just about every subject imagionable, and welcomes variety.
Meadowlark Publishing was established in 2010 as a small independent publishing company with world-class creative expertise. We are able to offer competitive print prices through long-established relationships with excellent suppliers. We can tailor a budget to allow for shorter print runs unlike many larger publishing houses.
